Weekend Outfit Diary

Casual Weekend Outfits

I find going away for a weekend it can be tough to look stylish. You really don’t want to stuff your suitcase full with a million things just to unpack it again a few days later.

Recently I went away for a long weekend, and I wanted to keep my outfits really casual and comfortable. For me, comfort is key for being confident with your style. I decided to repeat jeans and shoes, but change up my tops and accessories to add versatility to my outfits.

Edgy Chic

I have always loved adding a little bit of edge to my outfits. Here I styled a pair of high waisted black denim with a band tee, hoodie, and a jacket. To accessorize, I wore my denim choker which I am obsessed with these days, and simple black aviator glasses. An outfit like this I thought paired perfectly with double dutch braids.

Comfy in Layers

On a cooler day adding layers is the key to keeping stylish and warm. Here I’m wearing an oversized sweater, a camel coat, and one of the biggest scarves I own. Wearing a pair of leggings with ribbed knees keeps this outfit extremely comfortable and adds that extra detail to stay stylish.

Pop of Colour

This outfit I am re-wearing the dark denim, and booties. To change up the look I went with a striped blouse and a statement jacket. The burnt orange colour of the jacket is just enough to make the outfit stand out without it looking like I tried too hard. Adding a fedora hat is the icing on the cake for a polished casual look.
